Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Related Sciences (MANNRS)

MANRRS is a national student organization targeted to reach under represented populations in agriculture and related science fields. OMP provides leadership to the Purdue University student chapter.

MANRRS began as a vision shared by a group of agriculture students and faculty members at Michigan State University and Pennsylvania State University. The goal was to develop a partnership between minority agriculture and natural resources students and professionals from academic institutions, government, and industry. The commitment led to the first national MANRRS conference held at MSU in 1986.
