Research
Development of novel methods for the extraction and identification of phytochemicals derived from plant waste materials. Extraction methods of interest include microwave-assisted extraction, ultrasound-assisted extraction and supercritical fluid extraction. Determination of the antioxidant capacity of phytochemicals in model food and biological systems.
