Leadership and Professional Development Seminar Series
The Department of Food Science at Purdue University began a Graduate Student Leadership and Professional Development Seminar
Series in the Spring of 2005, which currently is supported in part by General Mills, Inc. This seminar series is offered
each spring semester. Graduate students in the Food Science Graduate Program are invited to participate in the seminar
series once during their graduate program at Purdue University. Students generally are encouraged to participate during
their second or third semester for M.S. students, or during their fourth or fifth semester for Ph.D. students. There are
no costs for the students to participate in this seminar series. The following is a list of topics/books covered in Spring 2007:
