Rado Gazo is an Associate Professor of Wood Processing and Industrial Engineering at Purdue University. Wood Research Laboratory at Purdue University is more than 100 years old and is well known for its research, teaching and extension programs in secondary wood products and process engineering.

Rado teaches several classes including Properties of Wood, Secondary Wood Products Manufacturing and Furniture Design for CNC. When not in a classroom, he conducts research and technology transfer in value-added wood products manufacturing and industrial engineering areas. He often works as a consultant to furniture companies.

Rado’s research interests include competitiveness of furniture manufacturers and application of industrial engineering techniques to forest products manufacturing. Rado has worked with over 100 companies, published over 150 publications, and given more than 100 professional presentations on the subject of secondary wood products manufacturing.
