Dan works with administrative and organizational issues. He is responsible for coordination of the recruiting, interviewing and hiring process for Extension Educators in cooperation with the Purdue Department of Human Resource Services. Responsibilities also include oversight for personnel issues, serving as a resource for District Directors and representing the Director of Extension in discussions with county governments and Extension Boards. Dan also works with budget matters, especially those dealing with county appropriations in support of Extension programs. In addition to responsibilities as Assistant Director for Organizational Administration, Dan serves as District Director for the East District of Purdue Extension.
