Purdue University’s Department of Agronomy and University of Florida’s Department of Animal Sciences in partnership with EARTH University, are offering students an opportunity to earn 3 credits hours through the course titled:
“Promoting Sustainability: Training Agricultural Practitioners”
When: May - June 2010
For: all majors, but oriented for majors in Agronomy, Agricultural Economics, and Animal Sciences. (Classes taught in English.)
Objectives: Examine sustainable development from a multi-disciplinary standpoint working with students & faculty from EARTH University and reinforce scientific concepts with practical labs and field experience with local farm operations, with an opportunity to learn about Tropical Research Methods and study in one of Latin America’s top Agricultural Universities
