  Turf Club

The Purdue Turf Club was founded in March of 1995 by a group of Turf Science students to provide other turf students, both now and in the future, with a means to advance their careers through new contacts, improved knowledge, and a sense of acceptance in the world of Turf. In 1997 the Turf Club became the Purdue University Student Chapter of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America. The inception into being part of the GCSAA was to further our involvement in the growing turf industry. The chapter believes that our greatest asset is our monthly meeting that brings everyone together. Each month the chapter tries to bring in a speaker or take a field trip to further expose ourselves to the diverse turfgrass industry.
