Ginger Batta joined the Department of Agricultural Economics as the Information Technology Specialist for the Center for Global Trade Analysis in December of 2004. Her primary responsibilities include the design, development, and maintenance of the GTAP website, GTAP Short Course preparatory websites, and the AgEcon 618 course website. Outside of this, she is also responsible for the sales, distribution, and reporting of all GTAP Product sales as well as the online organization of the Center’s core events.

Prior to joining Purdue, Ginger worked as a graphic/web designer for a national employment publication and as a web programmer for an integrated marketing firm, both located in Indianapolis, Indiana. The majority of her work as a graphic/web designer focused on the development of custom advertisements suited for use on both, print and web applications. As a web programmer, her responsibilities included the authoring and management of numerous marketing-based websites as well as the production and development of targeted email marketing campaigns.

Ginger is originally from Frankfort, Indiana and earned her B.S. in Computer Graphics Technology from Purdue University in May of 2003. She currently resides in West Lafayette.
