· College of Agriculture offers an exciting opportunity for students to work in the nation’s capital.
· The COA Public Policy Program selects five outstanding undergraduates from any major in the college to spend a summer in Washington D.C.
· Internship opportunities thrive in our nation’s capital. >From legislative internships on Capitol Hill to positions with think tanks and advocacy groups, there is truly something for everyone.
· Students are placed with organizations that reflect their particular areas of academic interest.
· Participants in the program meet policy professionals and interact with Purdue Agriculture alumni in the D.C. area.
· This program allows students access to challenging and unique internships, which in turn provide them with professional experience and contacts.
· Included in the 8-week program are accommodations in the Gewirz Center at Georgetown University Law Center and a $500 stipend for transportation expenses.
