Olivia Maddox is editor of Agricultures Magazine, which covers research, teaching and Extension, and Purdue Agriculture Report, an online monthly newsletter for business and research stakeholders. Additionally, she edits weekly news columns, distributed to the media, and writes copy for special projects. Maddox has worked in higher education for more than 20 years. She previously held positions as director of publications at Butler University, editor of Butler Magazine, and director of public affairs at Indiana University at Kokomo. She formerly served on the board of directors of I-CASE, the Indiana chapter of the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education. Maddox earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism/public relations and a master’s degree in journalism from Ball State University
