Laura Hoelscher edits and manages Extension, educational, and promotional projects for the Agricultural Economics, Biochemistry, and Entomology departments; Agricultural Research Programs; and the Economic and Community Development Program. Hoelscher is also the copy editor of Agricultures. And she works with campus- and county-based Purdue Extension colleagues as a member of the New Ventures Team. In addition, Hoelscher holds a half-time appointment as the editor of the Journal of Extension. In that capacity, she sets editorial policy, initially reviews all submissions, determines final disposition of articles, and assembles six online issues per year. Hoelscher joined AgComm in 1984, after earning her Ph.D. from Purdue in American Studies.
