Jon Bricker came to Purdue University’s College of Agriculture from a diverse background. After receiving an undergraduate degree in industrial technology/education from Bowling Green State University, he taught in the Montgomery County, Maryland school system. Jon then entered the museum field by joining the Smithsonian Institution. His responsibilities included exhibit design and production work for the Office of Exhibit Central, The National Museum of Natural History and The National Portrait Gallery. After leaving the Smithsonian system, Jon founded his own business specializing in exhibit/furniture design and production for many museums and architectural/interior design firms on the East Coast. Returning to the museum industry, Jon moved to Cleveland, Ohio where he assisted in the completion of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He then became the Director of Exhibits and National Science Foundation Project Manager for The Health Museum of Cleveland.

Jon earned a master’s degree in industrial design from Purdue University and a certificate in fundraising management from Indiana University. He also serves on exhibit advisory committees for many local, state, and national museums.
