Beth Forbes, News and Public Affairs coordinator, oversees a staff of seven writers who produce news releases, an electronic news service for farm producers, a magazine, an alumni publication and an Internet newsletter. A former broadcast journalist, Forbes previously worked at the Purdue News Service as a writer and in University Relations as a broadcast producer. For 10 years, she was co-host and co-producer for a public affairs program called Purdue: A Closer Look. She conducts media training seminars for local and national groups. She earned a bachelors degree in mass communications from Anderson University and a masters degree from Purdue University in leadership and supervision.
