Julie Douglas is the writer/editor of Ag Answers, a Web partnership between Purdue University and The Ohio State University that provides agricultural news and advice to help Indiana and Ohio farmers better manage their crops, livestock and marketplace transactions. Prior to joining the Purdue team, Douglas worked for the Indiana State Department of Agriculture.

Douglas is a graduate of Purdue University with a bachelor of science degree concentrating in the areas of agricultural communication and animal sciences. She has a passion for agriculture, which has been transparent through the years. Growing up on her family’s southern Indiana farm, she was a 10-year 4-H member and learned the importance of hard work, dedication and helping others.
